For our Enterprise services, you'll be provided with a single IANA address for your router's uplink, and a /48 prefix delegation to either dynamically or statically subnet addresses to your internal devices. You can subnet this into smaller prefixes (e.g., /56, /60, or /64) for internal use.
Be sure to utilize your provided default gateway address and Sonic’s DNS servers : 2001:5a8::11 / 2001:5a8::33
Be mindful that IPv6 addresses assigned to devices on your internal network will be publicly routable, unlike IPv4 LAN, which delivers private IP addresses protected by NAT (Network Address Translation). Sonic does not provide a firewall for you, so you will need to protect these public routable addresses with your own personal firewall.
