To see rates for all countries visit our International Rates page. It is recommended that you enter the international phone number in its entirety to be sure of any potential charges.
International calling is disabled by default. The process for enabling International Calling is simple, but varies depending on which Sonic service you have. Step by step directions outlining that process for each Sonic service is provided below.
Sonic Fusion DSL Customers
- Log in to Member Tools, located at members.sonic.net. Log in using your Sonic Username and Password created when you signed up for your Sonic service.
- Click on the Voice tab to the left of the screen.
- Under the Phone Number List section, select the phone number for which you would like to enable International calls.
- Select Settings for that phone number.
- Uncheck the box next to Disable International 011+ Dialing. This box is checked by default. By unchecking this box you are enabling international calls.
- Click Update to save your account settings.
Sonic Fiber and IP Broadband Customers
- Log in to Member Tools, located at members.sonic.net. Log in using your Sonic Username and Password created when you signed up for your Sonic service.
- Click on the Voice tab to the left of the screen.
- Under the Phone Number List section, select the phone number for which you would like to enable International calls.
- Within the Comm Portal, select the Call Settings tab.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Call Blocking. A menu will drop down.
- Uncheck the box next to International Calling. This box is checked by default. By unchecking this box you are enabling International calls.
- Click Apply to save your account settings.
Terms and Conditions of Global Calling
Sonic’s Global Calling feature is for normal residential use only and can’t be used for commercial or other special purposes. Global Calling is subject to reasonable use parameters as determined by Sonic. Customers are liable for all charges incurred from fraudulent use.
Normal, Reasonable Residential Use
Sonic's residential unlimited voice plan and features are for residential members and are based on usage patterns of the average residential customer.
Impermissible Use
Each of the following is impermissible under Sonic’s residential unlimited voice plan and considered outside of normal residential customer usage:
- Sharing or reselling features
- Operating a business, even if operating from the residence
- Operating any other enterprise, including not-for-profit or governmental
- Operating a call center
- Automated dialing
- Telemarketing or bulk faxing
